Beauty in every season

The Tatra Mountains are the highest mountain range that rises on the border of Poland and Slovakia. It is one of the most beautiful places in our country with picturesque views, valleys, and lakes. Every season, the Tatras enchant with their charms and offer attractions for everyone, throughout the year.

In spring, the Tatra nature awakens to life, and the lush green in the valleys stands out against the backdrop of the Tatra peaks still covered with snow.

In summer, the trails delight with lush vegetation: green valleys, blooming meadows, clear lakes, creating unforgettable memories of the Tatras. It's the perfect time for fans of fauna and flora. This time of year on the Tatra trails, you can see many species of animals, such as chamoises, marmots, deer, and eagles soaring over the peaks.

One of the most beautiful seasons in the mountains is autumn, which fascinates with a landscape painted in autumnal colors. It's time for mountain hikes without crowds and queues to the peaks. When we look at the Tatras from the terrace of our Pod Aniołem restaurant, we will see the redness of the ridges on the right side of the Sleeping Knight, these are the Czerwone Wierchy (Red Peaks), which are the most beautiful at this time of year. Autumn mornings and evenings will fill us with peace and prepare us for winter madness in the mountains.

The charm and beauty of the Tatras can also be seen in winter, which during the Christmas holidays, New Year's Eve, and the winter break is exceptional. Everyone will find something for themselves at this time of year. Peace among the snow-covered valleys and peaks, a walk through the picturesque streets of the city, or white madness on the ski slopes.

Hotel Belvedere in the embrace of the Tatras

Hotel Belvedere Resort & Spa is located next to the Tatra National Park, right at the entrance to the Valley of the White, which is called the valley of beauty. Along the trail flows the White Stream,
and the noise of the dense forest around will add charm to our walk. During the walk, we can also learn about the history of the old adit, where during WWII, the Soviets were searching for uranium deposits. In winter, a stone path, covered with snow, will lead us to a small waterfall, which in winter turns into an ice cascade.

For many of our Guests, the Tatras are an escape from everyday life, where one can indulge in contemplation, quiet down and admire the beauty of nature. It's the perfect place for physical activity, such as trekking or mountain climbing. Adults will find peace, and the youngest tourists will gain their first mountain experience in the Tatras.

Throughout all seasons, one can admire the beauty of the Tatras and the Tatra National Park and create unforgettable moments for a lifetime.
